Our Impact
As of 2024 Wasted Treasures has transformed 350 tons of organic waste into hundreds of thousands of biomass products, saving thousands of trees and contributing to the fight against deforestation. We have supported hundreds of farmers and olive mills, turning their byproducts into profitable assets, thus boosting local economies. The impact this has had on the community was profound. By purchasing organic waste from local farmers and mils, we not only provided an additional income stream to these providers but also offered significant savings on heating costs to the community. This initiative contributed to conserving forests and reducing landfill waste, with each household playing a role in saving approximately 10 trees a year.

Community Savings

By providing a sustainable and renewable fuel source in the form of biomass products, we help to increase access to affordable, reliable, and modern energy sources.

We are reducing deforestation and contributing to the sustainability of ecosystems. Also, by creating job opportunities and promoting waste management solutions, we make villages more inclusive and resilient.

By recycling organic waste, we reduce the amount of landfill waste generated and encourage responsible consumption and production practices.

The production and use of biomass products can help reduce carbon emissions compared to traditional wood and other fuels.

By reducing the demand for traditional wood, Wasted Treasures helps to conserve forests and other ecosystems and promotes sustainable land use.
